Cookie Policy

corehub.my keeps its use of cookies deliberately small. This page lists everything the site stores in your browser and why.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text entries a website places in your browser so it can remember something about your visit — a login, a preference, or the fact that you already answered a question. Related technologies such as localStorage work the same way and are covered by this policy.

What this site stores

NameTypePurposeLifetime
PHPSESSIDStrictly necessaryKeeps your session while you use the enquiry form, including its security token.Until you close the browser
chq_consentStrictly necessaryRemembers whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies, so the banner doesn't reappear.Until cleared
Analytics identifiersOptionalHelp us see which guides and pages students find useful, in aggregate. Set only if you choose "Accept".Up to 13 months

Strictly necessary entries are set regardless of your choice because the site cannot function safely without them. Optional analytics run only after you accept.

Your choice, and changing it

On your first visit a banner offers "Accept" and "Reject". Choosing either dismisses the banner and stores your decision. You can change your mind at any time using the round cookie button in the lower-left corner of every page, which reopens the banner.

Browser controls

Every modern browser lets you inspect, block or delete cookies for individual sites through its settings — usually under Privacy or Site Data. Blocking the strictly necessary entries will prevent the enquiry form from submitting, but the rest of the site will still read fine.

Third parties

Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may log the request technically (your IP address and browser details) to serve the file. No advertising or social-media tracking cookies are used on this site.
