Go far, without going in blind

An overseas degree is one of the largest investments a Malaysian family makes. We turn it from a leap of faith into a planned, costed, visa-checked journey — with an advisor who has done it hundreds of times.

Destinations

Four countries, four different playbooks

Each destination has its own intake calendar, visa rules and post-study work rights. Here is the short version.

AU

Australia

The most popular pick for Malaysians. February and July intakes, up to 4 years of post-study work rights, and strong pathways from Malaysian foundation programmes into Group of Eight universities.

UK

United Kingdom

Three-year degrees keep the total bill competitive. September intake dominates; the Graduate Route currently offers 2 years of post-study work. UCAS deadlines come earlier than most students expect.

NZ

New Zealand

Smaller classes, lower living costs than Sydney or London, and generous work rights. A strong fit for agriculture, environmental science, film and health sciences.

IE

Ireland

The EU's English-speaking hub for tech and pharma. One-year master's degrees and a 2-year stay-back option make it a rising choice for postgraduates.

Timing is everything

Work backwards from your intake

Overseas applications reward the organised. As a rule of thumb: shortlist 9–12 months before intake, apply 6–9 months out, and lodge your visa at least 3 months before flying. Our study abroad checklist maps the final 90 days in detail.

"The visa financial documents were the part we feared most. CoreHub gave us a checklist, reviewed every statement, and the approval came in eleven days."
Encik Rahman — father of an engineering student, Brisbane
"I missed the September UCAS window and thought I'd lost a year. My advisor found a January intake with the same course content and a scholarship attached."
